Eamonn Tilley

Head Triathlon Coach

 

I am, and always will be passionate about sport. I have trained with the best, competed at, and raced internationally. A recent graduate UCD- MSc Sports Science - BA Sports Coaching and a number of qualifications with 20 year of coaching experience at Paralympic and International level.

Eilis Connery

Physical Therapist

 

Another member of the team Eilis Connery is a runner, duathlete and Chartered Physiotherapist. She has worked mainly in the private practice setting for the past 8years and has completed a degree in Physiotherapy in UCD and a Masters in Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy in Australia. Eilis has competed for Ireland in both track and field and duathlon. Her reputation succeeds her both as a competitor and off the field of play as a Physiotherapist . She has worked with Triathlon Ireland Junior Academy recently and as part of the team will share her knowledge with you the athlete over the coming weeks and months .

 

Liam Tilley

Head Chef Extraordinaire

 

 Liam brings many years of experience to the team, he has  worked in some of the best restaurants in Ireland and around Europe. He started his career in the Gresham Hotel in the early eighties, realizing my potential I travelled to Switzerland with time spent under the Tuition of Wolfgang Von Kanel before moving to Lyon and the classical food of the Bouhon Lyonnasie. He moved to France working in the three star Michelin restaurant Louis XV in Monte Carlo and on to the Bastille de Moustiers in Provence.  He has always given a strong commitment to provide a high level of quality food. Either with the innovation of dishes, menu planning, nutrition, Allergen and therapeutic diets

Within the food business, getting to know the likes and maybe dislikes or dietary requirements of the client is the best service provided to the customer.

As an Tri athlete he has his finger on the pulse with regards to what type of colliery delights are required to race well. He also raced for Ireland both at home and abroad in the late 80s , he knows what's required and will be sharing simple and tasty dishes over the next next couple of weeks.
